1.5 cup cashew nuts
2 medium size onion4 medium tomatoes
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1 long cinnamon
1/2 tsp red chilli powdr 1/2 tsp coriander
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
Step 1 – Heat pan roast cashew nuts for 5 mins or until they turn light brown.
Step 2 – Transfer in to bowl. Divide cashew nuts in to two part. Let it be get cool then transfer one part in to mixer jar and grind it. keep aside other part.
Step 3: In the same pan, heat 2 tsp oil, add cinnamon , chopped onion , garlic and ginger paste. Fry until it became transparent.
Step 4 . Cool it and grind until smooth paste.
Step 5. Grind chopped tomatoes until smooth paste. Now add cashew nuts powder ( step 2) and grind it again.
Step 6. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion paste, sauté oil starts to separate.
Step 7. Add cashew-tomato purée (step 5) , red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
Step 8. Mix well and sauté until oil starts to separate.
Step 9. Add roasted cashew nuts. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 10. Add milk and water.Cover the lid and cook for few minutes.
Step 11. Remove the lid, mix well add kauri methi.
